The adventure begins on board Catalina Express where sitting on an outside upper deck, you can take in ocean breezes or keep your eyes peeled to catch a glimpse of white-sided dolphins. Or come inside and enjoy a snack or refreshing soda or cocktail as you relax in airline-style seats.

Description: Roundtrip high-speed vessel transportation between Downtown Long Beach and Avalon Bay on Catalina Island.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour each way.

The Catalina Landing at Downtown Long Beach is at 320 Golden Shore, along the waterfront beside the Pike and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Parking is available for a fee.

Passengers need to arrive 1 hour prior to departure for check-in and will be issued Catalina Express tickets at that time. Reservations will only be guaranteed until 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
